Activities to Inspire You in the Kitchen
In the Dinky Bakers kitchen we love to explore food! Sometimes experimenting goes well and sometimes not so well! But it is simply about having a go and enjoying the process.

Cooking with our children offers another way to help them to learn. Not all children take to sitting down and completing a workbook. There is another way to inspire and grow our children into amazing, confident little people. These are my ideas as a mum of three beautiful children, who inspire me every day.
Experiential Learning
This is when you are learning by doing and experiencing. Cooking offers this in bundles and is a super way of learning through a more multi-sensory approach.
Confidence Building
Children slowly build confidence by being able to prepare their own meals or snacks.
Problem Solving
Cooking demands problem-solving and planning.
Vocabulary
There is a lot of new vocabulary that can be learnt whilst cooking. This naturally helps improve language and communication skills.
